How can I be sure this certificate will be accepted by my employer?
We provide a private medical service and are not part of the HSE. We do interview all patients getting a sick note by telephone and we believe this meets the HSE recommendation for each patient to be reviewed to get a sick note. Despite this, some employers, may want a patient to have a face to face/in person review with a healthcare provider instead of a telemedicine review and unfortunately we are unable to provide this. Under these circumstances, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate

Our certificates start at 24.99E. We have different delivery options, so this can increase up to 39.99 depending on how fast you need a certificate processed.
Can I receive a refund for a certificate not accepted/rejected?
Yes, we provide refunds for certificates that are rejected, please allow up to five working days for this. We may need to see evidence of any rejected certificates, and we can be contacted by phone or email for any support queries on 01 443 4746/ info@getsickcert.ie
Can I request changes to a medical certificate or online prescription that has already been issued?
Yes, however we recommend that you ensure your dates and personal information are correct during your request, otherwise additional costs may be incurred for any changes. For this you can send a message to our chatbot or email us at info@getsickcert.ie and we will assist you from there.
What is your cancellation policy?
For cancellation requests, this must be done within 24 hours of your order. You can reach us at info@getsickcert.ie or on our chatbot service. Otherwise, a fee will still incur for the work of the GP who has processed the certificate.
What types of leave are covered by this sick certificate?
Our certificates cover sick leave from work, university and travel. They will prove that you are unfit to work/study/travel due to medical reasons. We do not state the reason for your illness on our certificates to ensure the client’s privacy.
Who is this service for?

- Any eye infections or injuries
- Those experiencing any severe symptoms, such as breathing issues, chest pain, headaches, abdominal pain, concussions or bleeding
- Conditions that require in-person diagnosis like blood tests, ECG, X-RAY, CT or MRI scans
- Anyone looking to get a health certificate in Ireland to present to the Department of Social Protection. A medical certificate for this purpose must be obtained by visiting the GP in person.
